Despite spending four years at a small college with two great hockey teams, I'd never been to a hockey game before. Going to see the local WHL team play was definitely a highlight this weekend. And going with a drunk Canadian was perhaps the best initiation!
For shame, Rainster. Colby did have excellent teams and live is the only way to watch hockey.
ReplyDeleteHockey is great live. I only went to a couple of Colby games, all women's, I think, but when I was teaching in Maine, I went to quite a few high school games. Maine high school hockey is a good time. NHL hockey can be fun, too. It's all better than hockey on tv.
