"Because she'll have the nuclear codes..."
Sarah Palin, that is.
That was my favorite line in this AP interview with Matt Damon:
Yeah, it all does kind of seem like a bad Disney plot...
That's such a tremendous interview. Damon comes across as sincere and restrained. He doesn't seem to be pushing a candidate or an agenda (though he undoubtedly is). It makes him appear vulnerable because, frankly, Palin scares him. It seems very different from the majority of Hollywood political interloping we've seen in the past. Less heavy-handed.
