"[w]hat was any art but ... a sheath, a mould in which to imprison for a moment the shining, elusive element which is life itself - life hurrying past us and running away, too strong to stop, too sweet to lose." - Willa Cather, Song of the Lark

A-ha!
For some inexplicable reason -- perhaps related to the previous post, perhaps because someone sang it at karaoke on Monday night-- I have "Take on Me" stuck in my head. It has a very cool video.
What's more inexplicable is that I listened to that song last night. Ok, so it's on my iPod. And "a-ha" always puts them near the top of mixes. Ok, they're just on one mix. I don't own any "a-ha" albums. I'm not in their fan club. I'm not writing them daily letters, begging for a reunion.
Hey, I don't prance. Although the boy dances, and I imitate his dancing, and he danced to a-ha, and I imitated that. A 14-month old doesn't prance, though. He more or less gyrates. Or wiggles to the music. He already has more moves than me (hence I'm stealing from him).

No, really, I'm not.
Now I have an image of Torgo skipping and prancing around to "Take On Me."
It's too much! It's cracking me up.... !

That's hilarious.
