"[w]hat was any art but ... a sheath, a mould in which to imprison for a moment the shining, elusive element which is life itself - life hurrying past us and running away, too strong to stop, too sweet to lose." - Willa Cather, Song of the Lark

Smoking guns
Wish this had happened 6 years ago. Wouldn't have had to wash my hair every night after going out!
I don't care if it's practically the new Prohibition, I love the fact that we have a ban in WA, too.
there's a ban in boston too -- i like not having to wash all my clothes after a night of just sitting in a bar (now after a night of dancing...another story). however, it means my smoking friends all go out and leave me alone whenever they need a cigarette.

I'm so used to non-smoking places that it weirded me out when I went dancing in Virginia, home of tobacco...
